About Me

Hola estudiantes! Soy Alberto. 

Native of mountainous Northwestern Spain, I've lived in Argentina, France, Germany, and Latvia. I'm a fan of languages having studied English, French, Chinese, and Latvian. As a Spanish tutor, I put that passion to use helping others learn Spanish. I know how much language can connect us and I enjoy helping others discover the awesome power of a second (or third or fourth) language.

In my classes, I help students gain their confidence speaking. I'm a fluent English speaker, so I can help you when you get stuck and I make sure to help students through the discomfort of doing something new and making mistakes. You'll make them - but it's okay, that's how you learn! I know because I've been there.

When I'm not teaching, I'm an avid traveler who loves hiking, learning about new places, and trying new foods (especially if they involve cheese). I immensely enjoy both movies and music. I'm something of a history buff. And I enjoy sports and video games. I'm sure we'll find many excellent topics to chat about as I help you on your journey to speaking Spanish with confidence!
